The world can be a dark and scary place. We all experience events in our life that cause confusion, pain, pessimism, anger, hatred and depression. For some these feelings become all consuming. Without a counselor’s life changing help, normal day to day functioning can cease. A renewal of the soul, heart and mind is often needed to be a healthy functioning individual. However, not everyone has access to the resources to seek the help and guidance of a counselor. It seems that mental anguish and strife have little regard for our size, shape or socioeconomic background. 46 million Americans do not have medical insurance. Even for those that do, in most cases, only a few counseling sessions are covered. Where can these people go for help?
Renewing Hearts is an innovative organization dedicated to provide healing to individuals who are not able to afford a counselor’s guidance. We are able to offer professional counseling services through the use of interns, other mental health professionals willing to donate their services at little or no cost and tax deductible donations from community partners such as you. A donation to Renewing Hearts will spread healing through the community by helping individuals renew their lives. This unique concept allows us to offer the community high quality care without concern for their income. Renewing hearts is improving society by healing one individual, couple or family at a time.
