I have run multi million dollar retail stores, helped launched this organization, planted a church, managed teams, budgets and resources and worked with marketing and advertising agencies. I have the scars to prove it. I have fallen flat on my face, and hit it out of the park. Along the road, I have learned a lot (mostly the hard way) and am excited to be able to help others avoid the speedbumps I hit at full speed.
Currently, in addition to being on the board here, advising on marketing and fundraising, I consult small businesses on social media and traditional marketing strategy. I blog on a few other websites and keep pretty busy with any project that catches my interest.
More important than all of that though, I am a father to my 2 year old son and am looking forward to another boy in December. I have a beautiful wife who treats me way better than I deserve. I love my family. I attend a great church where I help with the marriage ministry and in the nursery.
I am spending more time with my family lately and pursuing my passion and commitment to justice, advocacy and compassion. Many organizations exist to meet people’s material needs, but often times the underlying emotional and psychological needs go unmet. I am very excited to bring my business and marketing background to Renewing Hearts in order to help it grow and help as many people as possible. I spend most of my free time hanging out with my pregnant wife and son, writing, and wrestling with the dogs.
