I appreciate the unique Renewing hearts program. I feel that the entire organization is devoted to offering a helping hand up, rather than a simple handout. Money is something we sometimes struggle with, so it is great to be able to give what we can. It personally helps me to feel that I’m giving something back, rather than taking a handout.

They are a group of professional counselors that are donating their time to counsel individuals, couples and families.

Renewing hearts has helped me in a couple of ways. When I was dealing with some major anxiety, my therapist helped me to confront my fears and gave me some specific strategies to deal with it. Since then, my anxiety has become much less frequent, and when it happens, I am better able to cope. Renewing hearts has also helped my marriage. Although our relationship is pretty great already, our therapist has helped and supported us through a couple of rough patches. She has encouraged us and prayed with us, and I truly believe God uses her in amazing ways.
